ABOUT
An anime fanlisting aims to gather as many fans of a particular anime and/or manga subject from all over the world in just one list. The network's website is currently located at http://www.animefanlistings.org.
Destiny is the fanlisting for the anime and manga title Petshop of Horrors. It has been online since 30 September 2010. Site name was derived from the dominant use of letter "D" in the PSH series as a whole. Destiny is what customers come to face when they enter the Chinatown petshop, and leave with an exotic new pet that would spell either the realization of their dreams or their own destruction.
PETSHOP OF HORRORS
Thanks to Anime Critic!
Welcome to Chinatown's most unique pet shop. There is a variety of exotic creatures to choose from, each with an intriguing tale to share with the lucky owner. But be careful, what you see is not necessarily what you get.
"Our motto is to sell love, dreams, and hopes."
Those words, from Count D, owner of a mysterious Chinatown pet shop, seem to fit nicely with the ironic twists of Petshop of Horrors. Count D may sell pets with honorable intentions, yet it is the customer who fails to live within their hopes and dreams, which often results in tragedy.

Petshop of Horrors was originally a Japanese shoujo (girl) manga created by Mari Akino. It was later adapted into an original anime video made up of four [4] episodes, each telling an individual tale about a customer of Count D's pet shop. The episodes were entitled Daughter, Delicious, Despair and Dual, dealing with the themes lost love, second chances and redemption, among others.
The customers of Count D's pet shop have typically under gone some sort of personal loss, and Count D attempts to sell them an appropriate pet to fill the void. The pets that Count D sells are typically quite exotic, and always come with rules, that must be agreed to by the buyers in a contract. Violation of these rules usually lead to dire consequences, for which Count D cannot be held responsible, per the contract.
Count D's nemesis of sorts is Leon Orcot, a young, hotshot detective who seems to thinks Count D is dealing in immoral, questionable practices. Leon and Count D have numerous encounters and often exchange words as the latter reveals the nature of his customers and the pets, and, later, his own origin and past.
V.1.BLOOD
The first version of Destiny features Count D with his trademark bat-like pet. Version title was derived from the blood-like shades of red used through the entire layout.
The showcase image is an edited DVD screencap from the four-episode Original Anime Video (OAV) released by Urban Vision. Oriental-flavor and grungy brushes are all from Nocturna.net. Layout pieced together using Adobe Photoshop. HTML coded with Notepad.
